DSB1 Mental Health Education Week

Through science and technology curriculums, elementary and secondary students take a safe, practical, hands-on, experiential learning approach to develop the skills and knowledge to help them thrive in today’s rapidly changing world, where science and technology continue to adapt and evolve.

Students TAKE NOTICE of how technologies such as iPads can be innovatively used in their learning. DSB1 is proud to support students with a 1-1 iPad ratio in Grades 4 to 12, a 2-1 iPad ratio for students in Grades 1 to 3, and five iPads per kindergarten classroom.

Students continually KEEP LEARNING by using technology, such as t-shirt presses, in a variety of creative and innovative ways. Students also GIVE THE GIFT of supporting other students in learning about science during a Grade 8 Orientation Day.

How can you “fill your plate” to BE ACTIVE and CONNECT through science and technology?
