Special Education Advisory Committee Mandate
- to consider and make recommendations to the Board regarding matters related to the establishment, development and delivery of special education programs and services for exceptional students
- to participate in the Board’s annual review of its Special Education Plan
- to participate in the Board’s budget development process and to review financial statements related to special education programs and services
- to ensure the Committee’s deliberations and recommendations are undertaken with integrity and in compliance with its obligations under the Ontario Human Rights Code and related policies
